Ingrid Michaelson at El Rey

Hey, just wanted to say I’m listening to Ingrid Michaelson for the first time right now. Some of it’s very Grey’s Anatomy, and some of it’s pretty terrific. Some of it is actually both. See for yourself. She’s coming to El Rey on June 24th.

    For her fans,

    Ingrid and Music Nation are collaborating on a contest to see who can best belt out her hit track “The Way I Am.” There aren’t many in the contest yet, and the winner scores an autographed Gibson guitar. Sounds interesting…

    If you’re going to Ingrid’s show definitely get there in time to see her opener, Greg Laswell. He’s an underappreciated talent and should be playing a lot of material from his new album coming out in July.
